How to configure the orbi in access point or AP Mode?
You can utilize the WiFi on your Orbi router instead of the WiFi on your current network by setting up your Orbi router as an orbi access point.
How to configure your Orbi router to act as an orbi access point?
- Connect the LAN port of your current router or gateway to the Internet port of your Orbi router using an Ethernet wire.
- From a computer or mobile device linked to your Orbi network, open a web browser.
- Go to orbilogin.com now.
- A sign-in window appears.
- Type in the admin login information.
- The password you made up during setup is the user name, which is admin. Both the username and the password must match exactly.
- Displayed is the BASIC Home page.
- Select Router / orbi AP Mode under ADVANCED > Advanced Setup.
- The page for router/orbi AP mode appears.
- Click the radio button for orbi AP Mode. The page changes.
- Choosing an IP address setup:
- Dynamically obtain from the current router. While this router is in orbi access point mode, the other router on the network allocates an IP address to it.
- Fix your IP address (not recommended). While this router is in orbi access point mode, use this setting to manually assign it a specific IP address. Advanced network expertise is necessary to use this option efficiently.
NOTE: When your Orbi system is in orbi access point mode, you are unable to manage it via the Orbi app.
Having trouble setting up Netgear Orbi in AP Mode?
1. Verify any wall outlets
Check to see if the wall outlet your Netgear Orbi router is plugged into is in good condition. If it is, think about connecting your gadget to a different wall outlet.2
2. Check the Ethernet Connection

A cordless phone, a washing machine, a baby monitor, a fish tank, a mirror, a Bluetooth speaker, a treadmill, a television, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, an aluminum stud, a corner, or a solid concrete wall should not be placed close to your Netgear Orbi router.

How to Change the Password on a Netgear Orbi RBR750?
- Connect your Netgear Orbi RBR750 router to a power source.
- When you press the power button, the LED should turn completely green.
