- Take an Ethernet cable and connect it from your modem’s LAN port to the internet port on the Orbi router.
- Connect the modem to the power sources and turn on the power supply.
- Now, plug in the Orbi router to a wall outlet and switch on the power.
- The power LED on the Orbi router will flash solid white light and then turn into the pulse white.
- Place your Orbi satellite in the middle of the house and near to the Orbi router.
- Plug in the Orbi satellite to the power source and turn it on.
- Now, wait for the Orbi router to sync with the satellite. Check the status of the ring LED on the satellite.
- First, the ring LED will flash solid white and then turn into the pulse white. After a few seconds, it will turn into pulse magenta light.
- When the satellite’s ring LED stops pulsing magenta light, it will turn into one of the three colors: solid blue, solid magenta, or solid amber.
- A solid blue color indicates that the Orbi router and the satellite are synced successfully.
